With the Impact of media, music has become a hot topic with my colleagues. ABC has been screening a program called – Don’t stop the Music featuring Guy Sebastian and Anita Collins. It follows the journey of a school principal who is on a mission, to transform the lives of disadvantaged Aussie kids through the power of music. I am music teacher who aims to continue to develop my own understanding of the impact of music. I have obtained a Bachelor Music and Bachelor of teaching through The University of Newcastle, a Masters of Education with Australian Catholic University. I am currently studying The Place of music in 21st Century Education with MOOC Sydney Conservatorium of Music, The University of Sydney.
